Yesterday my littlest love turned 4 months. I can’t believe how fast time has flown, but at the same time I feel as though she has been a part of our family forever.
She also rolled over for the first time yesterday. I experienced an immense amount of pride and joy that I have never felt before. I have been her cheerleader each day during tummy time telling her (and myself) that it was perfectly okay she hasn’t rolled over yet and that we’ll try again tomorrow. So when she rolled over an unexpected emotional wave overcame me and I cried tears of joy while laughing at myself for being a total mom. Jesse was able to run into the room right in time to see her achieve this small yet monumental feat.
We braved the chilly wind to explore outside and have a 15 minute photo shoot. We ended up with at least 5 different photos of me pinching Evaline’s cheeks…I mean, how could I resist those?
Oh, my heart!
