Ii can’t believe I’m almost halfway done with this pregnancy! I can’t wait to see her again at our 20 week appointment (the true halfway point). I’m so grateful that I haven’t been sick, other than being so weak at times that laying in the middle of the floor and force feeding myself cake or anything with a cup of sugar in it became normal (dang thyroid). But really even that wasn’t bad, I’m sure a lot of people would love to lay down and eat cake a few times a day! The weakness, back aches, and lack of sleep are so worth it when I feel her fluttering around. It doesn’t matter what I’m doing, if I feel the teeniest of flutters I stop what I’m doing and stare at my belly with deep concentration to see if I can catch her again. I can’t wait until her kicks are stronger so that Jess can feel her move around too. Let me tell you, this girl has already stolen our hearts.

Yours Sincerely,

the woman who could be pregnant or just awkwardly chubby
